Movie Monday @ Messy Mommy

2012: An epic adventure about a global cataclysm that brings an end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors.

Ya, the plot sounds boring, at least I thought it did. I never did see the preview for this movie. I was expecting some sci-fi movie that I never had any intention of watching. Well this weekend Hubby & my dad watched. IT DRAWS YOU IN! My heart was seriously racing at times and I was yelling at the TV "HURRY UP!" It keeps you interested the whole time. LOVED IT! Watch it!

Cinderella: Updated version of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical of the classic fairy-tale, with an all-star, multi-racial cast.

So a few weeks ago I wrote about the first Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, and how it was AWFUL, despite the fact I loved it as a kid. I found this version and couldn't believe I had never heard of it! It was fabulous, compared to the first one anyway. Stars such as Brandy, Whitney Houston, Whoopi Goldberg and more gave great performances! If your daughter's into Cinderella I definitely recommend! Raven dances around singing the songs all day.

Well, you've talked me into watching 2012! I will participate in this as soon as I have time to watch a movie. If I ever finish my thesis...
