salvation sunday

You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other. ~Galatians 5:13-15

A man came home from a long day at work and plopped down on the couch to relax and read his paper. His little boy ran up and asked him to play. He was tired, but he didn't want to disappoint his son. He tore out a page of the newspaper that had a picture of the world, and tore it into pieces. He told his son that as soon as he had put the pieces together, he would play with him.

After a short while, the boy came back to his dad and said he was finished. The dad was shocked and said to him, "Son, I tore that in lots of pieces so it would take a long time to put together. How did you do that so fast?"

The little boy replied, "On the other side of the paper was a picture of a man. When I put him together, the world just came into place."

This story is a perfect example of how Christ works in our lives. If we put Him first, everything in our lives will fall into place. Selfishness will not get you anywhere with anyone, not God, not your family, not your friends, not even yourself. Let Christ show you how amazing your life can be.

You are soooo right. He's the only one with the master plan. So why wouldn't it make sense to follow the only ones who knows where He wants to lead us. The rest WILL all fall in place. It just takes a lot of faith.
