I actually just went through my blog list again! I had way too many I was trying to keep up with and many of the ones that I started reading became blogs that just did reviews and I didn't like that. I kept the blogs that made me laugh, smile and cry and the ones that I felt connected to. Don't feel bad about letting some blogs go... it happens!
I for sure read specific blogs that are ALWAYS good...then I pick and choose based on the title of the entry that day. It is a LOT! Sometimes I skim-read...
Boy, that's a hard one. I have my usuals that I drop on and if I see a headline I like, I'll read on.http://harrietandfriends.com/2010/02/sex-addiction-whats-next-shopping-chocolate-and-baseball-addictions/
I'm new at this, so I don't have a system yet. However, with so many blogs I tend to look at the titles first before I go to them.My Aloha Friday: What is the fondest childhood memory you have of your Dad?
Oh, you don't want to know how many I read! I just scroll down on my dashboard, to find the last one I read and then start reading up. Sometimes I skip some-I don't enter a whole lot of giveways, unless it's for a blogger that I feel like I know and then I want to support her, even if I don't really even want what she's giving away!I skip some that are Q &A memes. And some that are just pics or a quote. Though, there are certain blogs that I will read every single time. I used to read every singe post of every single blog that I followed, but now I just try to make the rounds as best as I can.I admit that I have starting skipping some where I used to comment on every single day and they NEVER once commented on mine. I'd rather use that time to visit the blogs where there's a mutual relationship. Is this the longest comment ever?
During my surfing I read the ones whose subject matter pops out to me. Then I visit those I like to read. I keep a blog roll on my page that give me a heads up when a new post has been added. Here's my Aloha Friday link for you
I mainly read the ones that comment to me. And those with interesting titles. And of course, I have a few favorites. For those post everyday, many you can pick 1 day & read several posts on her blog. Maybe read 10 blogs a day.
I just went through my blogs again and made some cuts... mostly because they were posting on things that didn't really interest me, or that I couldn't relate to. I have a few favorites that I ALWAYS read, I always try to read my followers and people who comment on my blog, and then I just pick whatever interests me :)
I read the one's which I have become friends with.
I pretty much read what I like. I have a few I have become friends with on twitter and I read those too. :)
I read the ones who's content I enjoy and/or find relatable. I also read those who comment on my blog and try to comment back as much as possible. It's one of my favorite things about blogging.
I'm completely over-whelmed right now. My real life is interfering with blogging. (The horror!) I haven't even opened my Google Reader all week. I'm afraid my laptop will explode when I get to it.
I try to read them all but I am getting overwhelmed. I am going to sort through mine. Those that comment back and leave comments will get priority over ones who don't visit and don't leave comments. That way I can visit the ones I like and still have the option ot read the others.
I try to read one at a time and what I have most in common with!Aloha
I try to read my followers and the people who comment on my blog. I also checkout my favorites and some random ones daily.
I read my dashboard and find there are some blogs that I skip over and some that I look for...it's the ones that keep me coming back that I read first, in case I run out of time. Shell sent me here:)
I use google reader and that really helps me organize how many there are to catch up on. I can have it open during the day and catch up here and there. I have a few that I am seriously so excited when they have a new post first thing in the morning because they help me get off on the right foot with my kiddos. I try to follow only the ones that interest me - and that usually includes my followers because they usually have something in common with me - in order to have decided to follow me. I heard about you from Shell! It wasn't until recently that I really started commenting...I used to be a lurker - but now I love the interaction that comes from commenting!
