I used to use Quicken, but I don't even do that anymore. I check our bank statements online and make sure there are no bogus charges, and leave it at that. It was much easier before debit cards! We don't have a budget either, but that hasn't been a problem for us so far.
Do you (or whoever's in charge of finances) balance your bank accounts? Do you have a budget?

I'm the one who takes care of paying things..but honestly, I couldn't tell you how much we have in our account. I've never been one to balance my check book. LOL
And I don't have a "set" budget, I'm just pretty good at being frugal with things.

Hubby and I now balance together we started doing it together since Hubby's best friends wife Wiped his bank acct's clean and stopped pay the mortgage 5 months before she took off running.
I told my best friend about this story and now she too balances with her husband. He used to do it on his own and she was clueless. I think it's better for a relationship if both partners know what's going on in the financial part of the relationship

We do balance our checkbook and acct. We do have a budget or just use the money we have and it stops , it stops.
