Couples Retreat: A comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional.It seems after a movie is hyped up so much when I see it I'm disappointed. Knowing that, I went into this movie not expecting much, and I really liked it. I think Vince Vaughn's humor in all his movies is hysterical. This one was no different. He's awesome. Hubby and I were laughing pretty hard during some parts. It featured quite a few well-known actors. I would recommend it!
Monsters vs Aliens: When a meteorite from outer space hits a young woman and turns her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag group of monsters also rounded up over the years.What is it with kid's movies lately with adult humor? There was a couple parts where I was laughing and Otter looked at me like, "What's so funny?" This didn't have inappropriate adult humor like some others. I guess it keeps you interested. It was a cute movie. Seth Rogen is hilarious as always. I didn't know Reese Witherspoon was the main character until after I started watching. Not the greatest movie of all time by any means, but I would recommend it.

My BIL recommended Couples Retreat too! We have Monsters v. Aliens and boo boo has watched it a bunch...

I love Vince Vaughn... so does my DH. Actually, he's a little obsessed with him. He's actually said that if there is ever a movie of his (DH's) life, he wants Vince to play him.

I haven't seen the first movie, but I love Monsters vs. Aliens. It is amazing how much adult humor they put in kids movies. It is a fairly popular movie at our house.

Actually, I was a bit disappointed with Couples Retreat. I think I went in expecting a movie full of laughs and although there were some good ones it didn't pan out for me. However, I could watch scenery like that for the duration of a movie and not care what the actors were doing or saying one bit. It was beautiful and made me want to go to Fiji!

I know! I was SO excited to see Couple's Retreat! I LOVE Bora Bora and while the movie was cute, I thought it would be much better!
