For my first year of teaching, I was a 6th grade Language Arts teacher. Yankee-teacher in the South: shocked to learn that even my advanced block of students were not aware that they shouldn't use double negatives.
I LITERALLY turned and banged my head against the whiteboard as I was trying to teach my students about it.
Did you know that March 4th is National Grammar Day? I saw something about it on the internet today.
Great job on grammer patrol. I have bad grammer habits I need to work on.
